Skilled Nursing services provide short term rehabilitative
care for patients
recovering from surgery & acute illness.
The Emergency Department is certified as a
Colorado Level IV Trauma Center providing 24
hour emergency care. Medical Staff covering the emergency
department are certified in
ATLS, ACLS, & NRP. The Nursing staff is certified in ACLS, NRP,
& TNCC.
Laboratory
HHD's medical laboratory provides clinical and pathology
testing.
The lab is CLIA
certified- maintaining the highest quality. The technicians -
Mark, Vicki, & Debra - hold certifications such as AMT
and ASCP.

After 3:30pm & 24/7 on-call
Radiology, Ultrasound,
& CT
The Radilogy Department at HHD provides x-rays through computerized
radiography, general
ultrasound studies, EKG, Holter Monitor, event monitoring. We now
also provide CT, MRI, and
PADnet services.
X-ray Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm

EMT Services
Haxtun Ambulance Service serves 400 squaremiles
in Phillips,
Yuma, Logan, and Sedgwick counties. The 24 hour on-call service
employs 11 individuals all holding certifications
including EMT Basic, EMT Intermediate,
and First Responder.
The Service currently operates two ambulances stationed out of the
Haxtun Fire Department. They hold monthly training
sessions and average about 150 calls annually.
The Haxtun Ambulance Service is part of the Northeast
Colorado Regional EMS/Trauma
Advisory Council (NERETAC) which is a consortium of EMS and
Trauma services in 9 counties
of Northeast Colorado.
