Skilled Nursing services provide short term rehabilitative care for patients
recovering from surgery & acute illness.

The Emergency Department is certified as a Colorado Level IV Trauma Center providing 24
hour emergency care. Medical Staff covering the emergency department are certified in
ATLS, ACLS, & NRP. The Nursing staff is certified in ACLS & TNCC.

Laboratory
HHD's medical laboratory provides clinical and pathology testing.
The lab is CLIA certified- maintaining the highest standards. The technicians hold certifications such as
AMT and ASCP.

Lab Hours: Monday thru Friday 7am - 7:00pm  ·  Saturday 8 - 12

Radiology, Ultrasound, & CT
The Radiology Department at HHD provides x-rays through computerized radiography, general
ultrasound studies, EKG, Holter Monitor, event monitoring. We now also provide CT, MRI, Dexa Scan,
and PADnet services.

X-Ray Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:00am - 7:00pm ·  24/7 on-call

EMT Services
Haxtun Ambulance Service serves 400 squaremiles in Phillips,
Yuma, Logan and Sedgwick counties. The on-call service employs individuals all holding certifications including EMT Basic, EMT Intermediate and First Responder.

The Service currently operates two ambulances stationed out of the Haxtun Volunteer Fire Department. They hold monthly training sessions. .
