Chief Financial Officer
Haxtun Hospital District is seeking a talented, financial leader that is passionately commitment to clinical excellence. The Chief Financial Officer directs the organization's financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.
Essential Functions:
- Oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, long range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization.
- Directs employees in providing and directing procedures and computer application systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services.
- Directs the treasurer in activities such as custodian of funds, securities, and assets of the organization.
- Appraises the organization's financial position and issues periodic reports on organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth.
- Directs and coordinates the establishment of budget programs.
- Coordinates tax reporting programs and investor relations activities.
- Analyzes, consolidates, and directs all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports.
- Oversees and directs the preparation and issuance of the corporation's annual report.
- Works collaboratively with CEO and governing Board in the development of long and short range operational plans and capital budgets.
- Possesses strong managerial, leadership and analytical skills, with a proven ability to both perform operationally and think strategically.
- Possesses a working knowledge of GAAP, Medicare and Medicaid regulations and federal and local tax regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience in same or similar role required. 5 years managerial/supervisory experience preferred.

Clinic Medical Assistant
The Clinic Medical Assistant assists in examination and treatment of patients under direction of the clinical staff, according to established procedures, by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
- Administers medications and completes and/or assists with procedures and examinations as instructed and under the direct supervision of the medical staff.
- Maintains patient record as instructed and assure legibility and confidentiality.
- Orient, train and instruct other nursing personnel as requested.
- Assures an adequate stock of supplies and proper functioning of equipment.
- Operates x-ray, electrocardiograph (EKG), and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic test or calls medical facility or department to schedule patients for tests.
- Gives injections or treatments, and performs routine laboratory tests.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meeting and workshops.
- Maintains established clinical policies and procedures and adhere to safety, environmental and infection control.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
